The Lets Play Together Playscheme is an inclusive scheme, for children from the ages of five to thirteen. Each week has a different theme. The next play scheme will be run for all 5 days of October half term and will have a Safari theme, which will include the Paradise Park Road show where the children will learn information about a variety of animals, and have the opportunity to handle a number of different creatures, as well as meeting Safari Sam, the Wildlife Park's mascot. The scheme is designed for both mainstream children and children with special educational needs. The scheme accomodates children who need one to one support and others with mild to moderate learning difficulties, who may need extra support for some activities. The aim of the scheme is to encourage social interaction and provide a stimulating and safe environment. The playscheme is registered with OFSTED and meets the stringent standards that they set to ensure the safety and well-being of children. The staff are trained to provide a fun, exciting and stimulating time for all the children attending. The children have fun, learn new skills and make friends in a safe and friendly environment. |
